Doctor of Optometry, Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry
Dr. April Chiu enjoys getting to know her patients and is dedicated to providing them with the utmost quality eye care. She has a versatile clinical background and has special interest in treating dry eye and ocular disease as well as fitting specialty contact lenses for corneal diseases like keratoconus.
Dr. Chiu received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mathematics from Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry, in Memphis, TN. She completed a residency at the Memphis VAMC with advanced training in ocular disease and also obtained her American Academy of Optometry Fellowship. She is member of the American Optometric Association and the Oregon Optometric Association.
Outside of the office, Dr. Chiu enjoys spending time with family and friends including her husband and their 2 cats. She also loves hiking, reading, rock climbing and most recently, skateboarding!
