Retirement Letter from Drs. Bill & Anne Berk
Dear Valued Patients,
After 40 rewarding years of serving the eye care needs of our community, we are writing to let you know that as of August 31st, 2024, we will be retiring from our role as optometrists.
It has been an incredible journey, and we want to express our deepest gratitude for allowing us the privilege of being your eye care providers. The relationships we've built with each of you over the years have been the most rewarding aspect of our career. Your trust and loyalty have made our time in practice truly special.
We are pleased to announce that the future of Happy Valley Vision Source is in excellent hands. The new owner, Dr. Kimmi Nguyen, is a highly skilled and dedicated optometrist, and she will be succeeding us in providing exceptional eye care to our community. Dr. Nguyen and her associate, Dr. Shaina Chan, come to us with a wealth of experience and a commitment to the same high standards of personal care that you have come to expect from our practice. We are proud of the practice’s 120 year continuous history of providing eye care in the Portland area and after working with Dr. Nguyen for several years, are fully confident that our practice and patients are in good hands.
We want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for entrusting us with your eye care needs. It has been an honor to be a part of your lives, and we are grateful for the memories we take with us.
We are confident that Dr. Nguyen will continue the tradition of excellence that Happy Valley Vision Source is known for. Her passion for optometry and patient well-being aligns seamlessly with our practice philosophy, and we believe she is a great asset to our community.
